Event Production Assistant

About Us:
ChoZen Eco Retreat is a sanctuary along the St. Sebastian River, offering guests transformative experiences in nature, wellness, and community. Our events range from wellness retreats and community markets to private gatherings and outdoor adventures, all aligned with sustainability and mindful living.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with the planning, setup, and execution of various events, including wellness retreats, artisan markets, and private celebrations.
• Coordinate logistics, manage event timelines, and ensure smooth transitions between event phases.
• Collaborate with vendors, partners, and team members to ensure all elements are in place.
• Help manage guest arrivals and event registrations with professionalism and enthusiasm.
• Set up and breakdown event spaces, including tents, furniture, AV equipment, and décor.
• Maintain clear communication with the event team and provide on-the-ground support as needed.
• Troubleshoot challenges during events to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Support the post-event cleanup process to restore spaces to their original condition.
Qualifications:
• Experience in event planning, hospitality, or production assistance preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays, depending on event schedules.
