Last November, a tribe of like minded humans came together to celebrate Love & Life - and the anniversary of the hosts, Tony and Ximena Cho at their magical retreat sanctuary ChoZen on the banks of the St Sebastian River.
Tony and Ximena have been quietly gathering a community of truly exceptional, heart-centered movers and shakers who are doing social impact projects all over the world. Throughout this epic weekend together, we laughed, cried, danced, sang, connected deeply to our shared missions, and fanned the flames of inspiration.
Late into the evenings, as the crickets chirped and the fire burned low we listened to the conversations happening all around us and recognized magic happening, right then and there.
A single moment in time can be a very powerful force. It can be a catalyst, or a turning point, or a place of origin that extends out in many directions. From our sustained friendships to the many cosmic connections of this past year, it seems clear that our moment at ChoZen was an impactful one. So, we’re doing it again! We want to build upon that magic a second time, this November, and we hope you’ll join us…
Inner Refuge and ChoZen are hosting a special weekend long retreat this November, to continue where we left off. It is our intention to facilitate deeper work-- earth-focused, ancestral rituals and consciousness workshops --within the context of social impact and our tribe’s work. We are community leaders, brainstorming ways to unite our skill sets and invoke action.
We want to continue fanning the flame of inspiration for each other so that we can burn brighter in a world that needs light.

FACILITATORS
RAFAEL CHAMAN
He has immersed himself in the learning and practice of Hatha Yoga through more than seven different yoga systems, including Kundalini, Ashtanga and Sivananda. Has also explored practices like Zhineng Qigong and Daoist Qigong, where he learned the language of Energy.
He travels the world following the call of the Way as a student, of the Path sometimes taking the role of the teacher sharing his heart in master classes, teacher trainings, gatherings immersions and retreats. Other times just praying and dancing with the spirits of Nature in ritual, ceremony and just flowing.
KIAUIQUETZAL
At the age of fifteen, she started her initiation to the Mexican traditions with her spiritual grandmother who shared her knowledge of the Temazkali (traditional sweat lodges), Aztec dance, sacred medicine and codes, indigenous chants, New and Full Moon Women circles, among others.
As an architect she developed her own landscape concept that pursues biodiversity, sustainability, nutrition and culture.
She is part of the Seed-sowing Women Movement (France), and continues her involvement in projects supporting the conservation and reproduction of GMO free seeds.
REGGIE RIVERBEAR
Was born and raised in a temple home in the Netherlands where mantra and sacred song where an integral part of growing up. Having a great passion for dance and theater, Reggie has been performing and sharing from the young age of 4. She followed the calling of her Heart to travel the world, ending up in Kenia, Africa at age 17, where she fell in love with the simple and potent joy of singing together.
Ever since, she has devoted her time to Song and Storytelling turning her into an active member of the co-creation of a new era rooted in love and equality. Voice activation workshops, weekly singing circles, private sessions and embodiment arts, are some of the practices that bring to Reggie the greatest joy.
