Our seaplane expeditions showcase the impact suburban sprawl is having on our local ecosystems and the need to increase conservation efforts. Together we’re committed to conserving 1,000,000 acres of the Florida Wildlife Corridor, with specific emphasis on protecting the headwaters to the Everglades directly west of ChoZen Retreat.
Paola Espitia, M.Sc
Paola Espitia, M.Sc. is energizing a sea of Wavemakers. For two decades, she worked to understand and conserve coral reef ecosystems as a marine ecologist. Her research led her to dive Australia’s Great Barrier Reef, Belize’s Barrier Reef, and Cuba’s Jardines de la Reina National Park. But when she realized she could make a bigger impact by using her voice, she became a Speaker-at-Sea cruising over 30,000 nautical miles aboard world-class cruise lines educating thousands of people about ocean conservation. Today, Paola is Chozen's ocean expert and paddle guide.
